Residential Service Requirements
Residential Internet service requires an active Conway Corporation broadband cable line to your residence. Residential service also requires a DOCSIS cable modem which may be leased from Conway Corporation or provided by customer. (Conway Corporation recommends the Motorola 5100 Series Modem.) Multiple computers will require a switch or router.
- Operating System: Windows ME/2000/XP/VISTA or Macintosh OS 7.5.2 or greater
- Hardware: Properly installed and configured 10/100/1000 Mb Ethernet Adapter Card. These are available from all local computer stores as well as through mail order.
- TCP/IP protocol services properly installed and configured
- Active Cable Outlet within 5 feet of computer
The following will function with Conway Corporation Broadband, however they will reduce or eliminate Conway Corporation’s ability to provide support. • A non-Microsoft based operating system • Routers, switches and hubs • A software or hardware based proxy or firewall server • Cable splitters
If you subscribe to Cable Television and own your own modem you may call in the modem information. If this fails and you do not get online, you will need to schedule for the next available appointment and you may be charged an installation fee.

TERMS OF SERVICE
Payment
The customer agrees to pay the monthly fee, including any applicable taxes, as established by Conway Corporation. Conway Corporation Broadband may, at its discretion, adjust these charges from time to time. The customer agrees to pay Conway Corporation in accordance with the payment terms on the monthly invoice. Conway Corporation will terminate the service in the event of non-payment.
Equipment
Equipment provided to the customer by Conway Corporation remains the property of Conway Corporation unless the customer expressly purchases said equipment. The customer is responsible for condition of any Conway Corporation equipment provided. In the event the equipment is moved to another location, the customer must notify Conway Corporation in advance so that Conway Corporation can correctly uninstall and reinstall the equipment. Failure to do so can result in disruption of service.
NOTE: All rates posted are representations of the approved rates. Any discrepancy between those posted on the website and actual approved rate documents will be resolved in favor of the approved rate documents.
