Information Regarding Closed Captioning Closed captioning allows persons with hearing disabilities to have access to television programming by displaying the audio portion of a program as text on the television screen and provides a critical link to news, entertainment and other information. You can control closed captioning through your television remote control.
Troubleshooting Closed Captioning Issues:
Conway Corporation passes the information received from the original program provider and does not create or modify closed captioning data. Our system is designed to pass-through the captioning without adding or deleting any information that is provided to us. Most commonly, errors occur during live events, such as news and sports. In some cases, a customer’s equipment may cause good captioning information to be missing or distorted. In these cases, please refer to your equipment guide to verify that settings are correct.
