There are hundreds of free shows to choose from including favorite cable TV programs, kids and sports shows, even concerts and music videos.
In addition to the free content, VOD allows you to buy individual programs. Movies, for example, cost between $2.99 and $4.99 and are available for 24 to 72 hours after purchase.
You can access and watch the program at your convenience as many times as you want within the rental period. You can even pause, fast-forward and rewind using your digital cable remote.
Unlike standard pay-per-view, there’s no set schedule with VOD. The programming is available in a library maintained by Conway Corporation that is accessible any time.
Digital-cable customers will not need any additional equipment to access the library. If you are a digital cable customer, you automatically have access to your on-demand service. It is ready when you are.
Approximately 1,100 hours of programming will be available on demand with more being added in 2008. You will find unique programming for a variety of interests – including Karaoke.
Subscription Video on Demand will include HBO, Cinemax and WWE 24/7. Digital subscribers, who subscribe to HBO and Cinemax, will also have access to those channels’ on-demand programming free of charge. WWE 24/7 will be available for $6.95 per month. WWE 24/7 offers fans 20 hours of content, refreshed with four to five new hours per week and updated monthly, including originally produced shows and never-before-seen footage from WWE and other leading wrestling brands.
