VISTA HELP
Running Programs as Administrator:
- Right-click the program
- Left-click "Run as administrator"
IP Configuration:
- Select the Start Button
- In the search box at the bottom of the start menu type "cmd"
- Press "Enter"
- When the command prompt opens, type "C:"
- Type "ipconfig"
- Press "Enter"
- The numbers to the right of "IPv4" is your IP Address at the current time
- If your IP Address is 127.0.0.1 that means that you aren't connected to the internet, and you may need to restart your modem
- Your IP Address should start with 24.144.
- Type "exit"
- You have now sucessfully checked your TCP/IP Settings
Repair Network Connections:
- Next to the clock in the lower right corner of you desktop, locate the icon that looks like two computers
- Right-click that icon
- Left-click "Diagnose and repair"
- This will automatically attempt to repair any network errors that you are experiencing
