Configuration Instructions for Microsoft Outlook 2010
- Open Outlook 2010
- Click File
- Make sure Info is highlighted at the top and click Add Account.
- When the Add New Account window opens click Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- Click Next
- Choose Internet E-mail
- Click Next
- Under User Information fill in your name and Conway Corporation email address.
- Under Server Information fill in the following information:
- Account Type: POP3
- Incoming mail server: pop.gmail.com
- Outgoing mail server: smtp.gmail.com
- Under Logon Information enter your entire Conway Corporation email address in the User Name field and enter your password.
- Click More Settings to the right
- Click the Outgoing Server tab
- Check the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and the option Use same settings as my incoming mail server will automatically be chosen.
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Under Server Port Numbers below Incoming server (POP3) check the box next to This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and the Incoming server (POP3) will change to 995.
- Under Outgoing server (SMTP) drop down the box next to Use the following type of encrypted connection and choose SSL. Next to Outgoing server (SMTP) change the port number to 465.
- Click OK
- Click Next
- Click Finish
