Windows Live Mail Email Instructions
- Open Windows Live Mail.
- Click on the Accounts tab at the top of the window.
- Click on this
icon to begin configuring Windows Live Mail.
- Fill in the following information:
- Complete email address
- Password
- Display name
- Check the box next to Manually configure server settings.
- Click Next.
- On the Configure server settings screen under Incoming server information enter the following information:
- The Server type should be POP
- Below the Server address field check the box next to Requires a secure connection (SSL), the Port number will change to 995. Enter pop.gmail.com in the Server address field.
- Authenticate using Clear text should already be chosen. If not drop that box down and choose Clear text.
- Verify that under Logon user name your complete Conway Corporation email address is in that field.
- Under the Outgoing server information check the box next to Requires a secure connection (SSL) and Requires authentication.
- Enter smtp.gmail.com as the Outgoing server address and change the Port number to 465.
- Click Next.
Congratulations you have successfully configured Windows Live Mail for your Conway Corporation email address. Click Finish.
