Meriweather celebrates 25 years of service

We’ve come a long way since we began operating Conway’s electric light plant in 1929, and we owe much of our success to our employees – the men and women who proudly serve this community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This month, Conway Corp would like to recognize two employees who are celebrating anniversaries and have been with the company 25 years or more.

Jeff Meriweather is celebrating 25 years with Conway Corp. Jeff was hired May 20, 1991 as a Laborer in the Water Department and transferred into the Cable Department as a CTV Installer in November 1992. He became a Cable Technician in August 1994 and was promoted to System Technician in May 1997. He was promoted again in April 2000 to Senior Technician and became the Cable Installer Foreman in October 2001. He was promoted to his current position – CATV Installation Superintendent – in January 2007. Jeff is responsible for organizing, planning, coordinating and supervising the activities of the cable installer technicians.

In addition, Conway Corp would also like to congratulate Senior Lab Technician Dusty Weaver who is celebrating 33 years of service to Conway Corp and the community.
