Lawrence celebrates 30 years of service
We’ve come a long way since we began operating Conway’s electric light plant in 1929, and we owe much of our success to our employees – the men and women who proudly serve this community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
This month, Conway Corp would like to recognize eight employees who are celebrating milestone anniversaries and have each been with the company 28 years or more.
Jim Lawrence is celebrating 30 years with Conway Corp. Jim was hired in July 1986 as a groundman and was promoted in 1996 to locator then to locator foreman in 1999. In October 2010, he was promoted to his current position, damage prevention foreman. Jim manages, coordinates and supervises the locating of Conway Corp utility lines to protect the lines and the public to potential hazards.
In addition, Wastewater Plant Operator Brent Clark is celebrating 37 years of service; Underground Service Tech Randy Ethridge is celebrating 28 years of service; Wastewater Chief Plant Operator Tilden Fulmer is celebrating 37 years of service; Water Plant Operator Steve Mahar is celebrating 43 years of service; Accounting, Compliance and Risk Management Manager Tracy Moore is celebrating 29 years of service; Engineering Secretary Liz Nixon is celebrating 36 years of service and Electric Foreman Mark Rowlett is celebrating 31 years of service.
